Tips for Keeping Hands Clean and Germ-Free

The MamaZone: Tips for Cleaner Hands

Sponsored Content-TheMamaZone.com

I am not of fan of dirty hands. I won’t hold them or touch them and I do a fair share of nagging about them to my children. When I taught, there was a large bottle of Purell waiting for my students by the classroom door. I won’t say I’m obsessed with it, but germ-free hands are a top priority for this mom.

And I’m sure you agree. So, here’s a list of tips to help make clean hands a staple in your home. These are tips for everyone in the household, including mom and dad. And, when it comes to hand sanitizer and wipes, we choose Purell. Check out the tips below and read on for a chance to win a prize pack full of Purell products.

  1. Wash hands before and after:

➤ Before you eat.

➤ Before you cook.

➤ Before you care for those boo boos and owies.

➤ After going to the restroom.

➤ After you cook (especially raw meats).

➤ After you take care of boo boos and owies.

➤ After you blow your nose.

➤ After taking out the trash.

➤ After shaking hands and high fives.

  1. Keep your hands to yourself. (Are my kids the only ones who have to TOUCH EVERYTHING?)
  2. Keep hand sanitizer handy. We keep Purell in the car, on our backpacks and in my purse.

The MamaZone: Purell Jelly Wrap

  1. Carry wipes with you. Most containers fit perfectly into car cup holders and come in packets that fit into backpacks, briefcases and purses.
  2. Keep your hands away from (and out of!) your mouth, eyes and nose.

These tips should go a long way toward keeping hands cleaner and keeping germs at bay. And, since I really want to help you in your pursuit for cleaner hands, let’s get on with the Purell Prize Pack giveaway.

Great reminder. I wash my hands frequently but find it a little more challenging to get the kids on board. I’m a huge fan of hand sanitizer and wipes. Especially for out in public. I’m always so glad to see sanitation wipes at the grocery stores for wiping down the cart handles. I also wash my hands as soon as I come home from shopping. Thanks for the great reminders!
