What Mama Learned Last Week: Pray

Motherhood is full of lessons and sometimes, I’m open to learning them. Here’s what I picked up last week in this week’s edition of  What Mama Learned.

The MamaZone- Pray

There is unspeakable evil in the world.

I had another list of lessons planned to share, but they all pale in comparison to this weekend’s reminder that there is darkness in the world. I’m praying for all of the people who were impacted by the violence in Orlando. I cannot imagine the pain they’re facing in the aftermath of such a senseless and sinful act.

If you lost someone this weekend, know that there are people all over the world praying for you and here to offer you support. Please reach out and don’t try to go through this alone. Visit the official GoFundMe page to offer financial support and for details if you are a victim in need of support.

Pray.

When things like this happen, one verse always comes to mind:

If my people who belong to me will humbly pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I hope those of you who pray will join me in prayer and repentance. I know of no other solution, my friends.

More next week…

By the way, I’m putting Monday’s Mom on hold for the summer (more about that soon). Don’t forget Father’s Day this Sunday #DontFlopOnPop.

I keep trying to remember to pray, instead of feeling hopeless. Thanks for the post
