Motherhood is full of lessons and sometimes, I’m open to learning them. Here’s what I picked up last week in the newest edition of What Mama Learned.
We’re not the only family who never has what they need in dad’s car.
I wrote this fun post on the things we need, but never have when we’re in my husband’s car. I halfway thought we were the only family living with this struggle, but it turns out that many of you can relate. If you missed the post, check it out now and pin the list for later. I think it’s funny that so many of us face these same little challenges. It makes me wonder what other little things we all have in common.
I love being with my family.
I know I’ve said that before and I probably say it too much, but it’s true. I love being with them and I love creating memories. And, although not all of those memories are fun, it matters a great deal that we’re together making them. It means a lot when I’m able to share our family times with you and last week’s post on Fall Outdoor Family Fun was one of those times. Take a peek at it if you’re looking for ways to spend time together as the weather cools off and if you have some fun family moments you’d like to share with me, tag @ZoneMom on Instagram!
Sometimes building a family is hard.
We’ve faced a lot as a family these last two years and while we’ve continued to push through, our battle scars are beginning to show. Last week was a particularly rough one, but once again, we’ve lived to tell the tale. I’m clinging to a life-tested verse that says, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (Romans 8:28). Perhaps it will encourage you today…
And that’s all she wrote.
Be sure to check out this Monday’s Mom for some great t.i.d.b.i.t.s. Let’s chat in the comments or on Facebook and Twitter today. More soon.
