Welcome to The MamaZone, where you’ll find useful tips and clever ideas to make mama’s life easier. I’m Anitra (that’s a-n-i-t-R-a) and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’ve been hanging out in the blogosphere since 2008 and sharing helpful tidbits for mamas here since 2009. I’m a content creator, online influencer, kids’ ebook author, and all-around fun gal. I write the posts, take the photographs, create the graphics, manage the site and create all the magic that you see happening here on my blog. I’m extremely happy you’ve chosen to hang out with me. Here’s your chance to get to know me better.
When I’m not blogging, I (s)mother two awesome kids and play better-half to their amazing dad who’s called me wife for 23 years. I was a real-life elementary school teacher long ago (I’ve got the dusty Master’s Degree to prove it!) and now, I homeschool the short one in the picture above.
I started on Facebook and Twitter back in 2007 and I now share my online world with about 30,000 friends, followers and fans. When I’m not here, you can find me at If Mama Ain’t… (my first blog!). I love living my life out loud online and especially love doing it here on The MamaZone. Check out my “What Mama Learned Last Week” series if you really want a glimpse into my world.
About The MamaZone
Motherhood is often quite complicated and I think that sucks! I’m always looking for ways to simplify things and when I find those ways, I share them here on my ever-expanding resource blog. There are parenting tips, DIY tutorials and ideas for family fun and travel. I also enjoy offering free printables for everything from crafts to romance ideas that you can download, print and enjoy. I started out as a reviewer, so there are quite a few posts with my opinion on a variety of products. It’s all aimed at helping make mama’s life easier and helping eliminate unnecessary stress.
While the bulk of my sharing is done here on the blog, The MamaZone (or “ZoneMom”) community extends across my social media accounts. You’ll find us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and YouTube. Meet me in any of those places and stay connected through my RSS Feed, email updates or my Insider Newsletter, which gives you access to monthly goodies and “insider” information.
And, that’s the sum of it.
