A Little Something for those Bad Hair Days

Let’s face it. We all have ‘em. There are days I’d love to lock myself in the closet to prevent anyone from seeing just how awful my hair looks and I’m sure you can relate. I’ve heard that the best way to attack those bad hair days is with the right products and the right tools. Here are some tools I recently tried and have been eager to share with you.Conair Product Review

The Infiniti Pro by Conair

This compact dryer caught my attention because of it’s twist-folding handle. I have very little cabinet space in our bathroom, so I’m all over anything compact. It’s 1875-watts with 2 speed and 2 heat settings. It uses neutralizing ions to seal hair cuticles and reduce frizz and there’s a removable filter and travel tote. I give it 4 1/2 mamas because of it’s size, the folding and the fact that it’s a cute green. It would definitely be a 5 if there was a comb attachment (a must for me). It retails for about $34.99 (not a bad price at all).

Conair You Style 2 in 1 Brush

This neat brush allows you to go from a flat brush to a round brush at the click of a button. I don’t usually use a round brush, but my hair stylist does, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to give it a try at home. It transitions easily from flat to round, but as a round brush, it only has bristles on three sides. A mama-friend who uses round brushes regularly says that gap would be a huge problem for her so we’re giving it 4 mamas. It retails for $9.99.

Scunci Bendini

These new hair clips add a little pizazz to your hair with just a bend and a snap. They come in three different sizes and styles ranging from jeweled crystals to colorful beads. There are styles for you and your little one and, as my two adorable models-in-the-making show, the clips work well on different hair textures. The Bendini clips stayed secure for the whole day, but we had a problem with one that seemed to break rather easily. I still gave this 5 mamas and would definitely purchase more. They retail for just $4.99 per pack and you can visit http://www.xcunci.com/bendini.html to see how they work.

If you’ve tried any of these, I’d love to hear your opinion, so leave me a comment. I’d also like to congratulate Audra B. who won these products in my Ultimate Blog Party 2011 giveaway. Enjoy!
